Choosing the Right Lighting.

Think about it -the table is the “point of sale” at a restaurant. So it is important to make customers feel relaxed, and candlelight is the most effective way to do this. Our lamps are not a primary light source, just an effective and subtle way to enhance the mood, regardless of what other lighting the restaurant uses. We have customers who have spent thousands of dollars on lighting, but still use table lamps because of their effect at the table.
Choosing tabletop lighting is a matter of selecting the right style and design to meet your customers' needs.

Here are some things to consider:

• What type of concept or look is the restaurant trying to achieve?
  
• Are you currently using anything on the tables ? If you are using candles, are you experiencing trouble with wax and smoke?
  
• If you are using tealights, do they often go out ? Are they the right “look” for the restaurant?
  
• Who are your patrons, and what appeals to them? Almost everyone loves a candlelit dinner, but try to match the lamp to your market- we have everything from classic, old world lamps to ultra modern, to simple, clean designs.
  
• What are your table sizes and configurations? Our lamp dimensions are provided on the information page for each lamp. All of the lamps are relatively narrow in diameter, but vary in height - both tall or short lamps are appropriate depending on your décor.
  
• What designs or colours are the tablecloths, china and flatware? You can narrow your choices by deciding on what finish and colours you would like to have on the table.
  
• What is the budget? Individual prices are provided with each lamp - ask us for a quote on bulk orders.
  
• How will the lamp coordinate with the overall setting-walls (are they timber or stone, etc.), floors, chairs? A photo is provided with each lamp, so if you have a “good feel” for your room, you can picture what it will look like. If you are not sure, we can send you a free sample to test at the table.
